This smoothie bowl can be turned into a to-go smoothie in a cup simply by adding more milk of your choice. Make sure to buy organic strawberries since conventionally grown strawberries contain extremely high pesticide residue.


1 cup frozen organic strawberries
1 peeled tangerine or tangelo
1/8 to 1/4 cup milk of choice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons collagen hydrolysate (optional)
1 tablespoon MCT oil (optional)
Optional toppings include fresh or freeze dried organic strawberries, organic blueberries, slivered almonds, shredded coconut


  1. Place frozen strawberries, the peeled tangerine/tangelo, milk (start with 1/8 cup), vanilla, collagen and MCT oil in a high powered blender.
  2. Blend on high speed and add more milk as needed to adequately blend. The smoothie should be thick.
  3. Pour into a bowl and add toppings of your choice.
