I went from enjoying a couple drinks with friends to not being able to drink at all when my SIBO was at it’s worst. Luckily, I can once again enjoy a cocktail without negative ramifications.  If you’re able to have a drink, this is a good one to try.  I always make a drink for my husband first and then add some more sparkling water to mine since I like my cocktail a little less sweet. 


1 1/2 cups lime juice
1 1/2 cups clover honey simple syrup
1 1/2 cups plain water
1/4 cup vodka or gin
Sparkling water to taste (optional)


Mix all ingredients together in a pitcher.  Taste it.  Add a bit more of any of the ingredients to suit your preference.  Serve over ice or shake with ice and serve up in a cocktail glass.
